Cancellation & No-Show Policy

 Reservation Policy

At The Mariners, we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. To ensure we can accommodate all bookings efficiently and minimise the impact of late cancellations and no-shows, we respectfully ask that all guests review the following reservation terms.

Reservation Guarantee

All dinner reservations must be secured with a valid credit or debit card. Please note that no charge will be made unless the cancellation terms outlined below are not observed.

Cancellation Terms

Guests may amend or cancel their reservation without charge up to 96 hours (4 days) prior to the booking time. If a cancellation is made within 96 hours of the reservation, or if a party arrives with fewer guests than booked without prior notification, a charge of £10 per person will apply. Failure to attend without notice will also result in this charge.

Group Bookings (8 or More Guests)

For parties of eight (8) or more guests, a pre-order from the group menu is required. Once the reservation is confirmed, an email will be sent containing the available menu options. Changes to group numbers or cancellations must be made at least 96 hours in advance to avoid the per-person charge noted above.

Why This Policy Exists

Late cancellations and non-attendance present significant operational and financial challenges for independently owned restaurants. By requesting card details, we aim to reduce food waste, manage staff scheduling effectively, and accommodate other guests wherever possible. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
